Marree Roadhouse and Oasis Café is open 7 days a week, 7:00am to 6:00pm.
We stock everything you need for outback travel: takeaway meals, fresh coffee, cold drinks, ice, groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, souvenirs, camping gear and tools. EFTPOS and cash-out are available.

Outback hospitality is our speciality at the Oasis Café and Bar in Marree. Open daily from 7:00am to 6:00pm (closed Christmas Day), our fully licensed venue welcomes everyone from solo travellers and touring families to large bus groups. Enjoy a cold drink or a quick bite before hitting the track.

Coffee
After a long drive on the track, there's nothing like a proper espresso. Our commercial machine turns out excellent cappuccinos, flat whites and long blacks. Freshest coffee north of Port Augusta that's not a small claim out here.
Bakery
Fresh bread is baked on-site every day in peak season, along with a rotating selection of hot pies, pasties, and sweet treats. The smell alone is worth stopping for.
Drinks & General Store
The Oasis is fully licensed, with a good selection of wines, beers, pre-mix cans and spirits. Our general store also stocks fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry staples, toiletries, laundry supplies and hardware items.

Practical Information
Flights operate daily between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Flights depart from Clayton Station, a working cattle property located north-east of Marree on the Birdsville Track — the ideal launchpad for maximum time over the lake.
Transfer to Airstrip ▼
Pick-up by our Pilot Team is available (meet at Marree Roadhouse 30 mins prior). Alternatively, a deduction of $45.00 per person applies for self-transfer. Service must be confirmed at least 72 hours before arrival (no refund applied after 72 hours).
Road Conditions ▼
The airstrip is located north-east of Marree on the Birdsville Track. A 4x4 isn't strictly necessary, but we do recommend decent clearance under the vehicle (no sedans or hatchbacks). The road is usually suitable to drive at 80kmh if care is taken to avoid potholes.
What to Bring & Wear ▼
Bring water, a light snack, a fly net and a camera. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Cancellation & Refund Policy ▼
To manage our remote location and limited availability, we kindly ask for your cooperation with our terms:
- Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to arrival will receive a refund, minus a 20% cancellation fee.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within less than 72 hours of the arrival date, or "no-shows," will be charged the full amount of the stay.
- Refund Processing: If a refund is approved, it typically takes 3 to 20 working days to complete.
- Early Departure: No refunds are provided for early departures or shortened stays once checked in.
Postponement & Credit Policy ▼
You may postpone your reservation free of charge. The full amount paid will be held as credit valid for up to one (1) year from your original booking date.
- Availability: Re-booking is subject to availability.
- Rates: Different prices may apply depending on your new dates or accommodation options. The guest must pay any price difference if the new rate is higher.
